Rites Are Held for Pioneer Resident Who Was Ill for Long Time

KANAWHA, Aug. 4 - John Zeigler, 69, one of the pioneer residents within the vicinity of Kanawha, was buried at the Evergreen cemetery in Britt Monday. The funeral sermon was delivered by the Rev. Lloyd Scheerer at the M. E. church in Kanawha. Mr. Zeigler died Friday at the home of his son after being ill for several years. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wilhite, and a son, Glen, both of near Kanawha. His wife died four years ago.
