Mrs. Tjaden Dead at Reinbeck

Joe Kramer and daughters, Anna, Josephine and Mrs. Reka Muhring, attended the funeral of Mrs. Geo. Tjaden, Jr., held at Reinbeck Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Tjaden is a niece of Mr. Kramer. She has been poorly all summer, having had a light stroke of paralysis. She passed away Sunday in the hospital at Mason City. Mrs. Tjaden was 32 years old. Mr. Tjaden is station agent at the Belmond depot, at which place they resided. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Reinbeck Wednesday afternoon, the minister from Belmond officiating. Interment was in the Reinbeck cemetery beside her father. She is survived by her mother, three brothers and one sister. She was a sister of Ed and Will Smith of California. There were no children. Mr. and Mrs. John Rabenberg and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Franken, of this place, also attended the funeral.
