Wilma Elizabeth (Isenberger) Schultz, 90, of 800 Lake Port Blvd. Leesburg, Florida died Sunday, May 3, 2015. Born in Clarion, Iowa on April 10, 1925, she earned a B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and a M.S. from Illinois State Normal - all in Physical Education. She was a teacher and professor at a variety of universities before becoming Chair and Head of the Department of Women's Education at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. She married Frank C. W. Schultz on December 18, 1959 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. "Willy" and Frank moved to Central Florida in 1973. She was a voracious reader who enjoyed golf and garden club and was an active member in P.E.O. and Eastern Star as well as the First Congregational Church of Oshkosh and the Howey-in-the Hills Community Church, FL. Survivors include son Frank (Jennifer Chizuk) C W Schultz II of Orinda, CA, brothers Maynard and Levi, IA, granddaughter Abigail Schultz of Ann Arbor, MI, grandson Benjamin Schultz of South Bend, IN, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM on Monday May 11th at the Lake Port Square Townhall in Leesburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL.
