CORONADO, CA -- B. Jean Larson Hopfinger "Nan" was born August 20, 1924 in Kanawha, Iowa and died April 7, 2015. She was 90 years old and resided in Coronado, CA. Nan was the beloved center of our family and her home in Coronado was a gathering place for everyone to enjoy holidays, card games, food, and family. Jean was predeceased by her spouse, Richard Martin "Gus" Hopfinger. Children include Kathleen Renda, Richard Martin Hopfinger Jr. (pre-deceased), Carol Jo Genser, Joan Adessa, and Julie Jenkins, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Jean's parents were Mabel Jencina Gunderson from Iowa and Hans Christian Larson from Troy [sic. Wright] County, Iowa. Services for Jean will be at Christ Episcopal Church (corner of 9th and C in Coronado) Friday, April 10th at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow.
