November 27, 1820 --- February 1, 1900

Mrs. Jane Bothwell Elliott died at her home in Goldfield, February 1, 1900, aged 81 years. Her general health had been good until Sunday, Oct. 29, 1899, when she was stricken with paralysis; since then she did not leave her bed. During this long sickness of nearly fourteen weeks, she manifested a most patient spirit, and committing herself wholly to her Lord, she waited peacefully the hour when God should call her to Himself. Deceased lived many years in Grundy county and will be remembered by many. Her husband [John], five sons and two daughters survive her.
