Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Baptist church for Mrs. Wm. Larick, 67, who died early Sunday morning at her farm home east of Eagle Grove. Rev. Howard Church officiated and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Larick is survived by her husband, three children, Kenneth of West Union; Mrs. Ed Donley of Washington, D. C , and Mrs. Curtis Wagner of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by her mother Mrs. Anna Stockdale, two brothers, Lawrence and Burdette Stockdale, and one sister Mrs. Ralph Edwards of Rochester, Minn., and eight grandchildren.

Clara Amelia Larick, daughter of Anna and Samuel Stockdale, was born at Stratford, Iowa, on September 25, 1897. She died at her home in Eagle Grove early Sunday morning, August 22, 1965. She was 67 years, 10 months and 28
days of age. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, August 25 at the First Baptist church of Eagle Grove, with Pastor Howard L. Church officiating. Interment was at Rose Hill cemetery.

Her youth was spent in Eagle Grove. On March 23, 1921, Clara Amelia Stockdale was united in marriage to William A. Larick. They moved to Head Grove community where they engaged in farming their entire lives. To this union was born three children, Marguerite, Mrs. Edward Donnelly of Springfield, Virginia, Kenneth Eugene Larick of West Union, Iowa, and Joan, Mrs. Curtis Wagner of Eagle Grove.

Clara Amelia Larick was a baptized and confirmed member of the Samuel Lutheran church but in later years had been very active in the First Baptist church of Eagle Grove. She was also active in the Homemakers Club and other community interests. Her life long occupation was that of housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, a sister, and one grandchild. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, one son, and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Anna Stockdale of Eagle Grove, two brothers and one sister Lawrence and Burdette Stockdale both of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Ralph Edwards of Rochester, Minn.
