A memorial service will be held Dec. 11 for Bonny Lou Quasdorf of Eugene, who died Dec. 3 of cancer. She was 75. She was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Lester and Myra Griffin Quasdorf. She graduated from high school in Iowa Falls in 1947 and attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, for two years and graduated from Colorado State College of Education in Greeley, Colo., in 1951. She taught first grade in the Eugene School District for 33 years, from 1951 to 1984. She enjoyed travel, music, gardening. entertaining and volunteering with her church Support Hult Operations and Oasis. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was active in United Methodist Women and the bell choir, Lane County Retired Educators and Delta Sigma Epsilon Sorority. She received the Pi Lambda Theta Educational Honorary and the Delta Omicrom Music Honorary awards.

Survivors include her brother, Robert "Bob" of Memphis, Tenn.; and two sisters, Isabel Williams of Mount Home, Ark., and June Turek of Quitman, Ark. Saturday's service will be at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Eugene. Private inurnment will be at the church's Rockey Garden. Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
