Robert “Bob” Busick, age 74, of Belmond passed away Wednesday January 7, 2015 in Belmond. Funeral services for Bob Busick will held at 7:30 P.M. Saturday January 10, 2015 at the Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luick’s Lane South in Belmond. Robert L. Dugger will officiate. The family will greet friends at a visitation before the service at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday. Bob was born November 13, 1940 in Belmond, IA. He was a life long resident of Belmond and retired from Eaton Corporation in June of 2007. Bob’s greatest passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren who were the “loves of his life”. Bob is survived by his wife, Karen of Belmond; children, Dawn Busick of Mason City, IA, Donna Busick-Bock (fiancé, Shane Laycock) of Des Moines; IA, Brian (Melinda) Busick of Humboldt, IA and Julie (Eden) Cunningham of Waterloo, IA; brother, Ray (Della) Busick of California; nephews, Steve, John, Warren, Wayne and Mike Busick; and his beloved grandchildren, Anthony Bock (fiancé, Abbi Adkins), Ciara Bock (fiancé, Luis Aguirre), Raeanna and Isaiah Busick and Tyson Cunningham; great-grandson, Mateo Antonio Aguirre; and a host of other relatives and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvin and Lillian Longseth.
