Pete McBirney, 72, of Alamo, Nev., died August 29 at Caliente, Nevada. He was the son of Edwin and Sarah McBirney. On Nov. 29, 1929 he married Myrtle LaRue at Iowa Falls, Iowa. Survivors include his widow, Myrtle of Alamo, Nev.; two sons, Edwin of Alamo and John of Newcastle; two daughters, Darlene Russel of Salt Lake City and Dorothy York of Shawnee; three brothers, Barney of Las Vegas, Darrell of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Lee of Yuma, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
