Mrs. Iverson, 70, Funeral Monday
Burial Made in Hampton Cemetery

Funeral services for Mrs. A. F. Iverson, 70, who died in her sleep at her home, 333 Foster Blvd., Friday morning, were held Monday afternoon at the First Methodist Church, with the Rev. H. V. Bartz officiating. Burial was in the Hampton Cemetery.

Mrs. Iverson, who had lived in Iowa Falls since 1940, was active in the Iowa Federation of Women's clubs, and had held state offices in the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church. She and her husband had returned about 10 days ago from a vacation trip to the west. The body lay in state at the Roe Community Chapel until noon Monday.

Mrs. Iverson was born Tilda Ellen Goldberg at Dows, daughter of Hans O. and Karen Marie Nielsen Goldberg, Jan. 28, 1886. She was married Oct. 30, 1913 at Dows to A. F. Iverson, who was then in the banking business in Dows. Surviving Mrs. Iverson are her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Clara Skovgaard of Alhambra, Calif., Mrs. Sophia Rodemeyer of Sheffield, and Mrs. Anna Stenejhem of Minneapolis, and two brothers, John Guldberg of Dows and Emanuel Goldberg of Thornton. Mr. and Mrs Iverson had no children, but had raised a nephew, Julien Hernan Goldberg, now of San Francisco, Calif, as their son. Mrs. Iverson was graduated from Ellsworth College in 1909, after completing a four-year academic course. She taught in rural schools, and also at Latimer and Popejoy.
