Sister of Mrs. G. H. Moe Dies in Minnesota
Mr. and Mrs. G. H. (Clara) Moe received the word on Monday of last week of the serious illness of her eldest sister, Mrs. William Crabtree. Mrs. Moe went at once to be by the bedside of her sister at the hospital at Brainerd, Minn. But Mrs. Crabtree passed away during the evening. The Crabtree family will be remembered by our older readers, they having lived on a farm east of town about thirty years ago. They later lived at Dolliver, Iowa, moving last December to their new home at Fort Ripley. Mrs. Crabtree contracted a cold some time ago that eventually brought on intestinal flu that caused her death. She was given blood transfusions but all efforts to restore her health were in vain. She was 66 years of age.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, two daughters, two sisters; Mrs. G. H. Moe of Lake Park and another at Dolliver, and four brothers at Dolliver. The body was brought to Estherville where funeral services were held last Friday. She was laid to rest beside her sister, Mrs. Bert Wicks in the Spirit Lake Cemetery.
