June 5, 1846 ---- January 18, 1892

The death of Mrs. C. B. Flint last Monday (January 18, 1892) night cast a gloom over a beloved family and a large circle of friends. Mrs. Flindt was a noble-hearted lady, a member of the Methodist church, and will be sadly missed in the neighborhood in which she resided. The fatal disease was la grippe and other complications. The funeral was held yesterday, Rev. Woodford being in charge.

Died - at her home in this place at 2' o'clock, Tuesday (January 19, 1892) morning, Mrs. Flindt, wife of C.B. Flindt, aged 45 years. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church yesterday afternoon and the remains were taken to Abbot for burial. Mrs. Flindt was the mother of eleven children, one of whom died in infancy. She suffered much in her last sickness but was very patient to the last. The husband who is thus deprived of a faithful wife and the children who are robbed of a mother's care and love will certainly have the sympathy of the community in their affliction.
