HARDY - Funeral services for Chris Brechler, 62, of Phoenix, Ariz, former longtime Hardy resident, will be held Monday at 2 pm at Hardy Methodist Church. Burial will be in Vernon cemetery with the Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt in charge. Mr. Brechler died Thursday at a convalescent hospital in Phoenix, Ariz, following a long illness. Until moving to Arizona about a year ago, he was a longtime resident here and had been a tank wagon gas service man for a number of years. Surviving are his wife, the former Evelyn Clancy; two children, Mrs Robert Heles of Des Moines and Ronald of Phoenix, Ariz; six grandchildren, one brother and one sister, H. G. Brechler of Havelock, and Mrs James O'Brien of Hartley.
