Carol Shoup, 58, of Renwick and formerly of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be 10:30 am Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ, Alden, Iowa. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the church. Woodley Funeral Service, LLC of Iowa Falls is caring for Carol and her family.

Carol Louise Bailey was born June 9, 1956 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Rosemary (Harlan) Bailey. She attended school in the Iowa Falls, Iowa area. Carol worked as a waitress and liked interacting with the people she served. Being outdoors any chance she had was her favorite way to spend the day. She had a strong affection for her grandchildren and enjoyed simply spending time with the family, especially in recent months.

Carol Louise Bailey Shoup is survived by her mother, Rosemary Bailey of Iowa Falls, Iowa; her children: Dan (Heather) Viet of Alden, Iowa, Kelly (Bob) Wolf of Renwick, Iowa, Angie Viet of Austin, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren and two sisters: Donna (Randy) Cook of Alden, Iowa and Marlys (Dean) Hilpipre of Alden, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Bailey and sister Marilyn Bailey.
