August 20, 1864 --- December 18, 1918

A. H. Wonderly knows what means to "monkey with a buzz saw" says the Livermore Gazette. He was performing real manual labor when it happened. He was assisting in the wood sawing at the home of his son John where the gas engine was popping and the power saw was fairly eating up the cordwood. He was doing the feeding when the accident happened and his hand got mixed with the saw teeth, cutting and lascerating, the back of his hand in very bad shape. The only fortunate thing about it is that no bones or cords are severed. So that perhaps he will have a good hand after the flesh is healed.
