April 12, 1857 --- July 16, 1930

The funeral of Norris Enfield of Hardy was held in the Methodist Episcopal church at Hardy Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev J. J. Share preaching the services. Burial was made in the Union Cemetery in Humboldt. Mr. Enfield died at the St. Joseph Mercy hospital Wednesday evening, July 16, where he had been treated a number of times for dropsy. The body was removed to the home of his son Harry who lives on the parental farm four miles west of Hardy. Mr. Enfield had lived on this farm for forty years. The Wilder-Young funeral parlors in Fort Dodge were in charge of the funeral.
