CLARICE MARY BUHNER

Clarice Mary Moser was born on November 14, 1912, the daughter of Antone and Mena Bauman Moser, near Vincent, Iowa. She received education in the Eagle Grove School System and graduated from Eagle Grove Sacred Heart Catholic High School in 1930. She was united in marriage to John C. Buhner of Eagle Grove on June 7, 1933. The couple has made Eagle Grove their home since the time of their marriage. They were partners in the Eagle Grove Greenhouse for many years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Guild.

Clarice Mary Buhner was admitted to Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge on July 31,1995 and died there on August 3, 1995. She had attained the age of 83 years, 8 months and 19 days. Survivors include her husband, John Buhner of Eagle Grove; sisters, Sister Mary Faith of South Bend, Indiana, and Mildred Brown of Richmond, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Nicholas; and two sisters, Bernice Larson and Marguerite Russell.

Funeral services for Clarice Mary Buhner were held on Saturday, August 5, 1995, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. The Father Norman While officiated the 11 a.m. Mass of Resurrection. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Willim Funeral Home, Ltd., of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
