February 26, 1917 --- December 25, 1993

Fred William Brisbin was the son of Fred G. & Nellie (Jones) Brisbin. He married Helen Weseloh on Dec. 13, 1942 at Fort Dodge, where they resided until moving to Webster City in 1957. He worked for Tolbin Packing Co. as a hog buyer. Tolbin Packing was later bought by the George A. Hormel Packing Co. Where he continued his work as a hog buyer until retiring in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Helen; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Penny Brisbin, Longmont, Colo.; 2 granddaughters, Jody Lynne Poe, Briggsdale, Colo., Jamie Jo Brisbin, Melbourne, Fla.; four sisters, Lou Weiss of Fort Dodge, Ruth Hanson of Eagle Grove, Frances Pospisil of Landrum, So. Carolina, and Betty Severson of Deerwood, Minn.; a brother, Richard of Mount Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Don, and a sister, Iola Moeller. Burial in Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa.
