GRANDMA RICHARDSON DIES, AGE 86

Mrs. Sara Jane Richardson, who has been an invalid for the past two years died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Bell, last Sunday night at 8 o'clock. She had been a resident here for eighteen years and will be missed by the community. Short funeral services conducted by Rev. Figge were held at the house at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The body was taken to Webster City for burial beside her husband and three children. The Times adds its sympathy to that of many friends of the relatives in the hour of bereavement.

Sara Jane Waters was born at Hastings (near London) November 15, 1830 and passed away Feb 25, 1917. At the age of 12, she came with her parents to Canada. In 1852, she was united in marriage at Chatham, Ontario, to Geo. F. Richardson, who became deceased Jan 23, 1914. In 1853 they moved to Portage, Wisconsin, in the vicinity of which they lived until 1874, when they came to Webster City, Iowa and resided there until 1899 when they came to Renwick, where they since lived. Three sisters survive her, besides the four children, A. B. Richardson and Mrs. W. H. Bell of Renwick; Mrs. Wm. Snyder of Buhl, Idaho; and Harry C. Richardson of Des Moines. Three children, Fred, Herbert and Clara are buried at Webster City by the side of their father. Brief services were held at Webster City Tuesday afternoon, where interment was made.
