Marlin even bought Ruth her own John Deere 4020 with a cab (a twin tractor to Marlin's).
Ruth and Marlin enjoyed spending time bowling in their earlier years, and looked forward to taking trips together and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Center Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Leland.
