BRITT, IA - Funeral services for Mrs. George (Bertha) Schroeder, 71, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Reformed Church in Britt. The Rev. Marvin Hoogland, pastor of the Kanawha Reformed Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Britt. The Grupe Funeral Home, Britt, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schroeder died Sunday. She was born near Kanawha, to John and Marie Faust on July 17, 1897. She married George Schroeder on Dec. 7, 1938. They farmed south of Britt until their retirement, then moved to town in 1951. Survivors include one son, George Schroeder, Arlington. Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Keith (Arlene) LaBounty, of Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hill, Mrs. Emma LaBounty and Miss Anna Faust, all of Kanawha; a brother, Clarence Faust, of Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
