LAWTON, Iowa — Lorna L. Harrison Dean, 57, of Clarion and formerly of Lawton, died Sunday at her home of a stroke. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the United Church of Christ Congregational in Clarion with the Rev. J.G. Swanberg officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Banner Township Cemetery at Lawton with the Rev. Robert Peters officiating. Willim Funeral Home of Clarion is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dean, the former Lorna Harrison, was born Dec. 14, 1931, in Sioux City. She graduated class valedictorian of Salix High School in 1950. On May 19, 1950, she married Darrel Dean at Sloan. She was employed as a teller at Brenton Bank and Trust at Clarion. Mrs. Dean was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational and the church choir.

Survivors include a son, Howard of Sloan; a daughter, Diana Dean of Nashua; two grandsons, John and Aaron Dean; three brothers, Cecil of Sioux City, Richard of Columbia, Mo., and Hubert of Waukegan, Ill.; and two sisters, Margaret Christensen and Mickey Johnson, both of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gwen.
