Services Are Held for Woman at Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE, Jan. 18 — Funeral services for Leora Gay Emerson, 46, were held Friday afternoon and burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. W. G. Muhleman of the Methodist church. On account of the inability of her father to care for her as a child, she was placed in the Iowa Children's Home at Des Moines, at an early age where she lived until at the age of nine years she went to live with Mrs. Van Kuren at Elkport. She also lived in Eagle Grove with the W. H. Paul family. Surviving her are five brothers: W. A. of Crookston, Minn.; Clarence L. of Eagle Grove: O. O., of Knoxville; Theodore of Parsons, Kansas; and Arthur of Colon, Panama.
