Marshall (Mike) Allen died April 11, 2014 at the age of 79. Mr. Allen was born March 3, 1935 in Corwith, Iowa, at home. He spent his teenage years in Hillsbrough where he was a member of Demolay. Mr. Allen served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force, and was married for nearly 50 years when his wife, Charlotte, died in 2005. While living in Southern California, Mr. Allen received his BA degree from UCLA, and was employed as a Management Consultant, traveling to companies in all parts of Central California. He is a Past Master of Sierra Lodge 788, Free and Accepted Masons of California, president of the Masonic Hall Association, and Vice-president/secretary of the "Yosemite Oakhurst Sierra 49ears Chapter of the Disneyana Fan Club." Mr. Allen is survived by his daughters, Debbie and Cathy, and granddaughter Shiloh; and a brother Woody Allen in Napa. Remembrances can be made to the Masonic Scholarship fund or the 49ears scholarship fund at Post Office Box 307 Oakhurst, CA. A memorial service will be held May 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Oakhurst Masonic lodge on Hwy. 49
