Beverly Carol Stephens Dickson was born June 1, 1917, to Beverly Clark Harris and Lucy Jeannette Stolder in Corwith, IA, the youngest of 7 children. She passed away on March 19, 2014, at Taylor House with her family by her side. Survivors include her children, James (Madeline) Stephens of Aurora, CO. and Beverly (Jerry) Davis of Ankeny, IA; step children, Betty Bryne, Eileen Deuell and Paul (Sue) Dickson; daughter-in-law, Mary Stephens of Altoona; step daughter-in-law, Mary Stephens; and a great number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great children and great-great-great grandchildren. She was greatly loved by her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Stephens; first husband, Shelby Stephens; second husband, John M. Dickson; her step-children, Wilma (Guy) Swenson, Kenneth Stephens, Shelby Devere (Margie) Stephens, Dick Deuell, and Lou Bryne; and her six siblings. Beverly was saved at age 8 and continued to love the Lord through her entire life. She is now with her Heavenly Father, but leaves a huge hole in our earthly hearts. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Ankeny Baptist Church, 2842 SW 3rd St. Ankeny, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.
