Benjamin F. Wesenberg, age 29, died at his home, 1645 C avenue at 9:40 p.m. Saturday following a ten days' illness due to influenza and bronchial pneumonia. He was born in Dows, Iowa, where he spent his boyhood and part of his school days. On graduating from the high school there he entered the Cedar Rapids Business college from which he was graduated nearly ten years ago. Since his graduation he has been employed by the Merchants National Bank. He is also a member of Crescent Lodge, No. 25 AF & AM. During the ten years of his business life here he made many friends who mourn his death.
He is survived by his wife, Ella, two sisters, Mrs. B. Dutton, of Meservey, Iowa, and Mrs. B. Powers of Gerled, [?] Iowa; also five brothers, Charles of Alden, Iowa, Frank, Henry, Fred and Walter of Dows, Iowa.
The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Masons will have charge, and the Rev. William Evans assisted by W. D. Fellows will officiate. Burial will be in Linwood. It is requested that friends of Mr. Wesenberg call at the home this evening.
