J. H. Plunkett's Mother Dies

Mrs. Helen Plunkett, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.D. Cashmore at Fr. William, Ontario, Canada; Friday, September 3. She was the mother of Engineer Henry Plunkett of this city. She was born in New York State in 1853 and for many years resided in this city. Her husband and two sons, Tom and Frank Plunkett, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church and burial was in Calvary cemetery.

The surviving children are J. H. Plunkett of Eagle Grove; William J. of Sioux Lookout, Ontario Canada; J. L. Manhattan, Mont.; L. C. of Racine Wis., and Mrs S. D. Cashmore, Ft. William, Ontario, Canada.

Those attending the funeral from out of the city wree Mrs. D. O'Connor, Mrs. Burdette, Mrs. J. Whelan, all of Mason City; Gertrude Whelan, Washington D. C.; Dr. and Mrs Weeks, Hampton; Mr. and Mrs. Fox, Mrs. Sheridan, Mr. and Mrs. C. Bake, Evelyn Fox, Mrs Joe Fox, Mat McDermott, Bancroft; Mrs. Stella McCauley, Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. R. Grant, Mrs A. Kaderabek, Mrs. Joe Kautzky, Fort Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bamsey of Des Moines.
