Celebration of Life services for Delores Brittain, 82, of Trenton, Missouri, will be Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm until 8pm and continue on Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City, Iowa.

Delores Mae Brittain was born November 21, 1930 in South Sioux City, Nebraska to Howard and Cecelia (Alam) McGhee. She graduated from Winnebago, Nebraska High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to Roger Christy on November 20, 1948 in Jefferson SD. The family lived in several communities before they made their home in Fort Dodge in 1963. Delores married Robert Ward Brittain on November 4, 1972. Delores worked several different jobs during her lifetime, from packing plant, cooking, waitressing, driving truck, and housekeeping. She enjoyed fishing and crafts. Delores moved to Trenton, Missouri in 1987. She died on November 18, 2013, at her home in Trenton, MO.

She is survived by her children; Carolyne (Clifford) Kelso of Trenton, MO, Del (Pam) Christy of Hubbard, IA, Connie (Bernie) Rolling of Fort Dodge, Marcia (David) Tillman of Minnesota, Gail Laird of St. Paul, MN and Paula (Alan) Smith of Trenton, MO. 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, brother, Emmitt McGhee of Nebraska, Ellen Krause of Nebraska, and Joyce Watson of Ava, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 3 sisters, and 2 grandchildren. Historic Bruce Funeral Home assisted family with the arrangements.
