Hold Rites For Garner Citizen
George Niemeyer, 64, Heart Attack Victim

Garner - Funeral services were to be held from the Zion Reformed church Tuesday at 2 p.m. for George Henry Niemeyer, 64, who died at his home early Friday morning following a heart attack. The Rev. R. E. Stuebbe, pastor, was to be in charge, with burial in the Concord township cemetery. George Henry Niemeyer was born at New Knoxville, Ohio, Feb. 14, 1880. He was married to Emma Straatman in Klemme March 27, 1906. To this union 2 children were born, Clarence and Wilbur Niemeyer, who live at Garner. Besides his wife and 2 sons, he leaves his aged father at New Knoxville, Ohio; 4 brothers, Henry, William, Edward and Benjamin, all of New Knoxville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ernest Wierville, Ohio, Mrs. Henry Schlenberg of Pandora, Ohio,, and Sophia Niemeyer of New Knoxville. Mr. and Mrs. Niemeyer lived in Garner for many years. Mr. Niemeyer has followed the contracting business and farming.
