MOBERLY, Mo. -- Iola Mae (Miller) Brandow, age 73, of Moberly, Mo., a North Iowa native, died, Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, of natural causes, in Moberly. Iola Mae Miller, the daughter of Andy and Reba Miller, was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Mason City. Iola was dedicated employee of Orscheln's for over 20 years. She loved being with her family and relished times spent visiting with friends. She loved to crochet and had made many beautifully hand-crafted, one of a kind afghans created by her loving hands for her family and friends. Some of her grandchildren's fondest memories was that there was always music playing and that Grandma always wanted to dance. She absolutely cherished going on fishing excursions with the grandkids. Iola was very devoted in her many roles as a wife, mother and grandmother.

Those left to cherish the memory of her life include her husband, Richard and children, Dyann Butcher (Terry), Sandy Orton (Mike), Irene Brandow (Sherry), Brian Brandow (Julie), and Rachel Raishe (Travis). Her grandchildren, Jessi Botkins (Corey), Amanda Sturtevant, Eryk Sturtevant, Andy Brandow, Bryn Orton, Joe Brandow, Alex Orton, Jamie Howard, Madison Butcher, MacKenzie Brandow, and Dalton Raishe. Great-grandchildren, Devin Chenoweth, Marrisa Chenoweth, Logan Botkins, Braelyn Smith, and Jeremy Sturtevant. Special niece, Pam Richards and children, Matthew Richards and Jeni Dean (Brad), as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her sisters, Ilene (Roy) Bingaman, Slater, Mo., and Sue (Dave) Nelson, Belmond, and a brother, Jim (Nancy) Miller, Nevada, Iowa. All who had the privilege of being a part of Iola's life journey will greatly miss her beautiful smile, welcoming personality, and her zest for life.
