WATERLOO — Homer A. Lockwood, 79, of 634 Dundee Ave, formerly of 4006 Hillside Drive, Cedar Falls, died at home Sunday, Oct. 8, 1995, of heart failure. He was born Dec. 20, 1915, in Goldfield, son of Floyd H. and Mae I. Farmer Lockwood. He married Darlyne Kneeskern Nelson on Jan. 28, 1967, in Kirksville, Mo. She died Aug. 3, 1992. Mr. Lockwood was a manager for Valley Park Lanes and Cadillac Lanes before retiring. Survived by a son, Chris A. Nelson of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Dawn M. Bogardus of Waterloo, and Lori M. Navarro and Linda K. Staudinger, both of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Betty M. McConnell of Firth, Neb. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
