ROBERT "BOB" THEO JONER
December 9, 1914 --- November 5, 2013

A Clark County resident since 1921, Robert "Bob" Joner, 98 years of age, passed away in Vancouver, Washington on November 5, 2013. He was born December 9, 1914 in Corwith, Iowa to DeLoss and Dorothy Joner. He last resided at Guardian Angels Adult Family Home in Vancouver, WA.

Bob was a member of the Columbia Heights Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed wood working, restoration work, gardening, music (guitar and singing), eating good food (especially sweets!), meeting new people, spending time with his family, and driving around in his silver International pickup truck. Bob was married to his sweetheart, Lillian, for 69 years, until her death in 2007.

Bob is survived by his children, RoseMarie (Ace) Collins of Vancouver, Michael (Lisa) Joner of Provo, Utah and Shawna (Wayne) Martin of Pleasant Grove, Utah. He is also survived by one brother, Kenneth Joner of Taylors, South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian; his daughter, Esther Joner; son, Robert Joner Jr.; two brothers, William Joner and Loyal Joner; and two sisters, Ione Joner and Betty Warren.

The viewing will be held Monday, November 11th at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14219 NE 49th Street, Vancouver, with the service following at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the service.
