Belmond, IA - Scott A. Phifer 2-1/2, son of John E. and Linda (Hanson) Phifer, died Tuesday at Topeka Kansas, where his father is stationed with the Air Force. Born in Germany Aug. 14, 1964, he had been ill more than a year. Surviving are his parents, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Phifer, Rowan: Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hanson, Mason City; Great Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oren Hanson, Belmond, and Mrs. Harry Bonatt, Clarion. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Belmond Methodist Church. The Rev. M.L. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Belmond cemetery, with Fulton Funeral Home in charge.
