Charlotte NC --- Mark Charles Mandsager Mr. Mandsager passed away unexpectedly at his home in Charlotte on March 27, 2011. Mark was born on August 8, 1950 in Sioux Falls, SD. He was a son of Charles Mandsager and the late Sarah [Christopherson] Mandsager. He was a brother to Miriam, Anne, and the late Tedd Mandsager. Mark graduated in 1972 from Augustana College with a BA degree. During his high school and college days, Mark was an outstanding track and field athlete. After college, he traveled abroad and upon returning he pursued a successful career in the floor covering industry. Mark had currently been working for Best Buy Flooring. He was well known for his excellent salesmanship and had developed many great relationships within his career. He is survived by his wife, Doreen; their children Ali, Tedd, and Carly; and nieces Kirsten and Rachel. Mark held a special place in his heart for his animals. He also had many great friends in Sioux Falls that he grew up with and remained friends with throughout his entire life. A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at Light of Christ Church in Charlotte on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sarah Mandsager College Fund at Augustana College, 2001 South Summit Avenue Sioux Falls, SD 57197.
