Donna Lou (Hauswedell) Miller, the daughter of George and Emma (Braskat) Hauswedell, was born June 25, 1931, in Hendricks, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Minnesota, graduating from Annandale Hugh School in 1948. On June 10, 1950 Donna married her church and high school sweetheart, David J. Miller. They spent many happy years serving different churches in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa. They also did extensive traveling which includes: Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Italy, Vatican City, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Monaco, England (Great Britain), Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada, Mexico and Nicaragua, as well as all 50 states. Donna worked for Federated Insurance in Owatonna, as a vault custodian at a bank in Chicago and for Ryerson Realty & Auction of Eagle Grove, retiring in 1993. Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rotary Ann Auxiliary and Equality Club.

Donna passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013, at Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 82 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband David on November 22, 2007. Survivors include her five children, David T. Miller and wife Shari of Annandale, MN, Delight J. Antos and husband Russell of Milton, WI, Edith D. Wood and husband William of Owatonna, MN, Naomi R. Busker and husband Larry of Owatonna, MN and Melody E. Erickson and husband Monte of Eagle Grove, IA; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernil Neuman of Annandale, MN and Mavis Ysker and husband Hubert of Maple Grove, MN and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 18, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Dr. Fran Pettigrew officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Cemetery in South Haven, Minn. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church and mission work.
