Elizabeth M. Brown, 101, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2013. She was born July 25, 1912, in Clarion, Iowa, to Enos and Margaret Matson. She graduated from Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minn., and worked as an RN for 40 years. She married Glenn Brown on June 2, 1940. They were married for 64 years when he passed away in 2004. Elizabeth and Glenn were longtime active members of the Arlington Christian Church. Prior to moving to Arlington, they lived in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Survivors: Daughters, Jean Crawford of Burleson and Janet Evans and husband, Robert, of Hereford, Ariz.; grandchildren, Louise Willett, Cherie Myers, Brett Crawford, Sarah Caban, Christopher and Brian Evans; and 11 great-grandchildren.
