Magor's Body to Be Brought From Chicago for Burial at Kanawha

Kanawha, Dec. 12 - Word was received here of the death of John Magor, former Kanawha banker and merchant, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Faber, in Chicago Tuesday night. He was about 71 years of age. Mr. Magor, who resided here many years, was formerly in the Farmers State bank and had engaged in the mercantile business here. The body will be brought to the Dr. Judd home, where services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and at 2:30 at the M. E. Church. The Rev. E. A. Briggs will be in charge and burial will be in Kanawha cemetery at the side of Mr. Magor's wife, who died two years ago.

Funeral for Magor Is Conducted at Kanawha

Kanawha, Dec. 19 - Funeral services for John Scott Magor, 73, were conducted in the Dr. A. L. Judd home and the M. E. church with the Rev. E. A. Briggs in charge, Music was furnished by the M. E. mixed quartet and the make quartet. Two solos were sung by V. Farnam Blomgren. Pallbearers were Neil Hanson, J. U. Johnson, C. C. Lucas, Jack Lucas, Dr. Stewart, V. A. Blomgren.
