November 10, 1889 --- May 19, 1975

Mrs. Earl (Anna) Cormaney, 85, longtime resident of the Blairsburg community, died Monday evening at the Clarion Memorial hospital where she had been a patient the past two weeks. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Church of Christ, Congregational in Blairsburg, with the Rev. Leslie Simonson officiating and with burial in the Graceland cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Friday when it will be taken to the church.

Anna Schultz, daughter of Charley and Lena Horn Schultz, was born Nov. 10, 1889, at Williams where she was reared and educated. She was united in marriage Oct 7, 1909. to Earl L. Cormaney. The couple farmed at St. James, Minn., for three years, moving then to Woolstock where they farmed until 1936. They then moved to a farm three miles north of Blairsburg where she was preceded in death by her husband May 3, 1972. She is survived by four sons and three daughters; Melvin Cormaney, Woolstock, Mrs. Orville (Esther) Riley, Iowa Falls, Charley Cormaney, Blairsburg, Mrs. Hubert (Daisy) Hill of Ellsworth, Donald Cormaney of Reinbeck, Iowa, Mrs. Virgil (Shirley) Meyer of Galt and Carl Cormaney of Cordoba, Alaska; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters, Fred Schultz, Princeton, Minn., Mrs. George (Etta) Anderson of Princeton, Minn., Mrs. Forrest (Tillie) Whisler, Webster City, Mrs. Bertha Murphy, Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. John (Freda) Allen of Whitmore Lake Mich., Mrs. Fred (Esther) Gross, Ann Arbor, Mich., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter; by her parents; one sister, and one brother and one sister who died in infancy. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Blairsburg, the Women's Fellowship. She had been a member for many years of the Needlecraft club of Blairsburg.
