Funeral services for Rev. W. H. Welch, a former Methodist minister who served in Woolstock from 1912-1916 were held at Early last Monday afternoon. He made his home at the Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. He leaves to mourn his death, a daughter (Ruth) and his son-in-law, Dr. J. W. Ganger of Early, two grandchildren, Marilyn and David Ganger. Mrs. Welch died in July, 1948, both are buried at the Otho cemetery in Otho.
