Pocahontas, AR -- Emil Younker, 81, of Route 4, Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away in St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., last Thursday [February 18, 1982]. He was born January 28, 1901 in Belmond, Iowa, a son of the late O. A. and Cordelia Parrot Younker. His wife, Mrs. Blanche L. McCleland Younker, preceded him in death. He is survived by three sons, Roy, Gene, and Daryl Younker, all of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Rush of Smithville and Miss Vivian Younker of Memphis; three brothers, Donald and Jeff Younker of Milton, Iowa; and Holmes Younker of Mercer, MO; two sisters, Mrs. Olive Palencia of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Mrs. Maxine Sidwell of Lakeview, AR; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Victor Green officiating.
