October 28, 1924 ---- July 2, 2013

CHARLESTON - Harry Ray Tague, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Lynette Cundall Tague, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 19, 2013, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow at 2:00 pm with Military Honors in Beaufort National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel.

Harry was born October 28, 1924 in Clarion, Iowa son of Harry Tague and Hazel Hiter Tague. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and attended the Yalta Conference as an orderly to President Roosevelt. He was also a retired Captain in the United States Army. Following his retirement from the Army he owned and operated a Mary Carter Paint Store. He is survived by his wife, Lynette Tague of Charleston; son, Steve Tague and wife Sandra of Charleston; daughter, Gail Tague of Bend, OR; two grandchildren, Kevin Tague and Kelly Musselman and two great-grandchildren, William and Lillian Tague. Memorials may be made in memory of Harry Tague to the Alzheimer's Association South Carolina Chapter, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Ste. 130, Charleston, SC 29407.
