Dorothy Brooks died July 10, 2013 at her home in San Diego, CA. Dorothy was born October 15, 1929 in Buffalo Center, the daughter of Roy and Sadena Cline. She attended the Iowa Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Des Moines. She moved to Ames upon marrying Arnold Jenison of Belmond, who was attending Iowa State College. The family settled in Ames where he worked as an engineer with the Iowa Highway Commission and she worked as a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold; and siblings Alice Jacobmeyer, Raymond Cline, Florence Jante, and twin sister Doris Hettel.  She is survived by her husband Kenneth Brooks of San Diego; and her son Dr. Steven Jenison of Dixon, NM.
