Susan Jane Kramer-Jones was born February 26, 1958 to Charles and Audrey (Johnson) Kramer in Clarion, Iowa. Sue earned her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and her master’s at the University of Iowa. She worked as a social worker for Creative Therapies of Iowa. Sue and Perry Jones were married November 6, 1992. Sue was a member of the N.A.S.W. and P.E.O. Her hobbies included gardening, yard work and being with her family. Sue passed away June 30, 2013 at Mary Greeley Medical Center at 55 years of age. Sue is survived by her husband, Perry Jones of Ames; her mother, Audrey Dodds; her children, Nathan Almer, Jonathan Almer, Aaron (Nicole) Jones and Carissa (Nick) Wadding; four grandchildren, Caleb Jones, Ty Jones, Carter Wadding and Evan Wadding; her sister, Julie (Richard) Kramer-Rude; and her brother, John (Renae) Kramer. She was preceded in death by her son, Alexander Almer; her father, Charles Kramer; and her first husband, Rick Almer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
