Rusty Fister, 39, of Webster City, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Russell Lee Fister was born June 19, 1973 in Clarion, Iowa, the son of Russell and Janet (Williams) Fister. He graduated from Webster City in 1991 and was to graduate from electrician's program at ICCC this month. He had worked at Electrolux and Tasler Pallet.

Survivors include his parents; Russell and Janet Fister of Webster City; sisters; Chris (Jason) Dingman of Webster City and Jamie (Charlie) Shook of Stratford, grandfather; Don Williams of Dewitt; nieces, Amanda Reed, Amber (Jesse) Bakken, Victoria Fister, Nattalie Shook; and nephews, Kyle Shook and Curtis Shook, great-niece, Ari Reed; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents; Charmine Williams, Mary Anderson, Roland "Hank" Fister, Phyllis Fister; aunt, Connie Williams; and cousin, Jeremy House.

Rusty enjoyed throwing darts, was a member of the VNEA Pool League, and the USBC Bowling League. He loved to golf, fish, and enjoyed stock car racing behind the wheel and as a crew member.
