March 27, 1852 ---- September 20, 1932

Mrs. Flora Plumley was born in DeWitt, Iowa, March 27, 1852, and died Sept. 20, 1932, at the home of her son Jay in Arkansas City, Kans., at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 20 days. She was married March 10, 1875, to Milo Plumley who preceded her to death Jan 30, 1907. Following his death she moved to Oklahoma from the old home in Boone township where she had spent 35 years of their married life. Four sons were born to this union: E. M. Plumley of Oakland, California, J. A. of Arkansas City, Kansas, F. L. of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and one deceased. Besides her three sons she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Rose Priseler of Pecatonica, Illinois, and Miss Ella M. Tuttle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Also six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist church and gave much of her time throughout her life to Christian work. Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept 22, at 2 p.m. at the Baptist church in Renwick with Rev. I. D. Halvorson of Goldfield officiating. Burial was made in Elmwood cemetery.
