Rites Scheduled for A. Ebert at Charles City

Charles City - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm at the grossmann-Hage Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, for Arthur H. Ebert, 61, a life-long resident of Charles City, who died Thursday at his home here. He had been in failing health for the past six months.

He was born in Charles City, July 9, 1899, the son of August F. & Emma Miller Ebert. He received his education in the Charles City public schools. On July 5, 1922, in Austin, Minn., he married Nona Pyle. Survivors include his wife, one son, Harold Ebert, two brothers, Walter Ebert, all of Charles City, and August Ebert of Hampton, one daughter, Mrs. Max (Betty) Fortun, Manhatten, Kansas; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold Bils, Lombard, Ill., and Mrs. Vick Hanson, Oklahoma City, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter.
