Strohbehn Rites Set Saturday

NEW PLYMOUTH, ID - Ed Strohbehn, 73, of New Plymouth died at his home Wednesday. He and his wife celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary Tuesday. Mr. Strohbehn was born at Goldfield, Iowa on Nov. 15, 1886. He came to Idaho in 1901 and was graduated from Payette High School and the University of Idaho. In 1910 he moved to Twin Falls for two years before he returned to the Falk and New Plymouth communities where he had since resided. He married Josie Hall on Oct. 4, 1911 at Moscow. Mr. Strohbehn was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; one son, Ben Strohbehn of Greenville, S.C.; three daughters, Mrs Charles Coonrod of Riverside, Cal., Mrs Harold Hylton of New Plymouth, and Mrs. Charles Cruickshank of Payette and McCall; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. J. A. Creswell of Boise, Mrs. Otto Albert of Reinbeck, Iowa, Mrs. Henry Solterbeck and Mrs. H. B. Solterbeck of Payette. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Cooper officiating. Interment will be at Park View at New Plymouth under the direction of Shaffer Memory Chapel.
