December 31, 1829 --- December 23, 1901

Died, at her home at Dows, of old age and a complication of asthma, at 10:25 p.m., Monday, December 23, 1901, Mrs. Laura C. Norris, aged 73 years, 11 months, and 23 days. The remains were brought from the late residence in Wright County to this city and taken to the home of the brother of the deceased, W. W. Haskell Wednesday morning, December 25, and thence to the White Oak church where the funeral was held and interment made in White Oak Cemetery. The deceased was the widow of J. F. Norris. She was accompanied to this city by her children, Charles, H. G., and Clay Norris, I. N. Howell and wife, J. M. Morrow and wife. the relatives have the sympathy of a large number of friends in this and Wright counties where the deceased has resided for a number of years.
