RITES HELD FOR MRS. M. KIMBLE

Grandsons of Aged Woman Serve as Pallbearers at Rites.

CLEAR LAKE, Jan. 14. - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Kimble, 74, were held Sunday afternoon at the Williams Funeral home. Dr. B. W. Riner, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated at the services. Burial was made in the Clear Lake cemetery. Four grandsons, Reeves Harding, Earl Harding, Boyd Harding, of Clear Lake, Clifton Kimble, Garner; Erwin Long, husband of a granddaughter, and Daniel Wilder served as pallbearers. Mrs. D. E. Kenyon and Violet Wolford sang several duets, accompanied by Mrs. H. D. Mason. The Meyer funeral directors had charge in the absence of Mr. Williams.

Margaret Godfrey Kimble was born on a farm near White Water, Wis., Nov. 23, 1860. She received her early education and spent her young womanhood in that community. She was married to Rankin Kimble on May 5, 1881, and in 1886 the couple settled in Lincoln township, Cerro Gordo county. In 1915 they retired from the farm, moving to Clear Lake. After Mr. Kimble's death, Feb. 1, 1920, his widow remained in her home until April 1934 when she became ill and went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Eunice McLaughlin, Belmond.

Among the out-of-town relatives at the services were Mr. and Mrs. William McLaughlin, Belmond; Mr. and Mrs. Morris Kimble and family, Garner; Homer Kimble, Minneapolis, who are sons or daughters of the woman. Mrs. Elizabeth Harding, East Main street, is also a daughter.
