Emerson Paul Cahill, 75, of Prescott, Arizona died Aug 28, 1987, in Merced, Calif. Born September 15, 1911, in Vincent, Iowa, he was the son of James and Martha Lehman Cahill. Mr. Cahill was a self-employed carpenter and a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol; two daughters, Cynthia Thomas of Tacoma, Wash., and Marlene McKamey of Bryant Pond, Maine; three sons, Alan of Phoenix, Kent of Houston, Texas, and Joseph of Auburn, Maine; two sisters, Helen White and Ethel Geary both of Calif.; and two brothers, Clarence of Iowa, and Clifford of Calif. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery [Prescott, Arizona].
